RACE

 

Race is no longer an issue for the human race. Whilest there used to be great debates and prejudice and hate against those of different skin colors, this is now obsolete, especially due to the Khaian-Human war. Different peoples with different heritages have colonized different planets, but humans may travel freely to any colony, even if they are German and the colony is Japanese. Those who do oppose those of different race are shunned and violence will lead to immediate jailing. The same goes for sexuality.

 

ANATOMY

 

Perhaps the only advancement with human evolution that is notable is the occaisonal lack of an appendix, and a larger brain. The increase in brain size is perhaps insignificant to most, but more and more 'genius' children have been born each year, and the number only grows. Our brains have developed much more thoroughly and are capable of much more for much longer. Our immune systems have also increased in strength, allowing us to travel to new planets and face the new illnesses there!

 

POLITICS

 

Humans are largely united under one big political system, the UPN (United Planetary Nations), with each planet (and sometimes, countries within each planet) having it's own governmental system that reports to the UPN. Each planet/colony/country is allowed any government it wishes, as long as it maintains the laws of the UPN. The UPN holds the right to destroy or reassign/create any malfunctioning governments to keep things moving smoothly. Peoples are allowed any political affilitation they choose, but those against the UPN, whilest not punished, had best stay silent.
